The Wiz Is Back!

In just a couple days I will have watched the 2015 remake of The Wiz. I am so excited that they Wiz is being remade and at first glance the cast looks like to be a perfect fit. I love the soundtrack of The Wiz it’s just a great movie with a star studded cast then, and a star studded cast.

I honestly think That the “character” Michael Jackson played as the scarecrow is more of the man he really should have been sensitive, eager, unsure, timid, and full of knowledge, and a huge loving heart. It is my fondest performance of Michael Jackson, as he really was the Scarecrow.

One thing I always wondered: Was Miss One really the number lady? Somebody help me out here lol.

Some of my favorite lines:

  1. Count your blessings, cut your losses and follow the yellow brick road.
    Never truer advice for life.

2. When the Wiz has scared the Scarecrow, The Tin man
The Wiz: What do you want you sniveling slobbering something something something
Lion: I want to get the hell outta here!! real tears😂 😂

3. Dorothy: We never needed anything from a fake wizard anyway!
oooo the shade LMAO

4. And finally the most powerful quote:
The Wiz: Dorothy… [pause]
The Wiz: Can you do something for me?
Dorothy: They’ve had what they’ve been searching for in them all along. I don’t know what’s in you. You’ll have to find that out for yourself. But I do know one thing: you’ll never find it in           the safety of this room. I tried that all my life. It doesn’t work. There’s a whole world out there. And you’ll have to begin by letting people see who you really are.                                                             Glory! And again the purpose of my blog. Welcome!
