Gigi Cupcakes was my go-to I’m having a bad day treat. This time around Gigi’s reached out to me and asked me to sample their Fall Seasonal Cupcakes. UH YEA!
I was given a gift card for cupcakes in exchange for this blog post. All opinions are my own!
Gigi’s Cupcakes Founded in 2008 by Gina “Gigi” Butler as a local boutique bakery in downtown Nashville, Tenn., Gigi’s Cupcakes has grown into America’s largest cupcake franchise with over 100 locations nationwide. Gigi’s Cupcakes offers a wide variety of high-quality, freshly baked goods, including cupcakes, cakes, pies, cookies and more all made from recipes created by Gigi, whose American Dream story has inspired people across the country.
Best known for its signature “Gigi’s swirl” and an incredible variety of gourmet, over-the-top cupcakes with icing piled high and exquisite decorations, the bakery offers a variety of gourmet desserts that guests will have the opportunity to try, including 300 rotating cupcake flavors with gluten friendly options, mini cupcakes, custom cakes, cheesecakes and stuffed cookies.
This fall for the holiday season as part of their rotating menu of cupcakes and cheesecakes, Gigi Cupcakes introduces their seasonal flavors now available through November 30.
This holiday the flavors are S’mores, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Salted Caramel Cheesecake in Vanilla and Chocolate.
I really liked the Pumpkin Spice Latte. I’m not a huge fan of the Pumpkin Spice craze, but this cupcake tasted like a sweet spice cake. The best part is that it had some coffee flavor, the latte, in the cupcake that you could taste. The icing was a vanilla cream cheese flavor and topped with sugar. Yum Yum!
The Salted Caramel Cheesecake comes in Vanilla and Chocolate and was one of my favorites. The base of the cupcake is chocolate or vanilla cheesecake filled with sea salt caramel. Both the chocolate and the vanilla cheesecake are then topped with caramel frosting, drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce and finished with a sprinkle of sea salt. It’s rich, but you can do it. With a glass of milk on the side.
My favorite, I mean MY FAVORITE of this fall season was the S’mores cupcake. The cake was made of chocolate graham cracker. The marshmallow icing was rich and delicious and I think I could even taste the campfire that toasted the marshmallows. Finally, the cupcake was garnished with a Hershey mini. After I finished, I definitely wanted S’more! This one will definitely come home with me again.
Additional seasonal offerings include The Boo Box, combining creepy and cute all in one, with six Vanilla and six Devil’s Food mini cupcakes all ghoulishly decorated for Halloween with witches, pumpkins, and ghosts. The Gobble Box includes six Vanilla and six Devil’s Food mini cupcakes, all decorated with Thanksgiving-themed buttercream frosting.
Flavors and selection will vary by location.
